Downtown Jordan offers many antique shops to visit as you stroll along historic Water and Broadway Streets.  There are over 15 different buildings on the National Register of Historic Buildings.  One such building is the historic Nicolin Mansion which operates as a bed and breakfast. The Jordan area is pleased to have a winery and vineyard in Crofut Family Winery and Vineyard.  It is a great time and they have some super wine.  Check their website for more information

The Jordan area is home to two of the Twin Cities great golf courses.  In Jordan you will find the Ridges at Sand Creek.  Nearby in Belle Plaine you will find Valley View Golf Course.  Each course provides full dinning and banquet facilities as well as top notch golfing.

Jordan is surrounded by many apple orchards and pumpkin farms.  In the fall many people visit our area to pick apples, buy pumpkins, buy gourds, buy many other fall decorating items, horseback riding and hay rides.  One of the many unique apple orchards to visit within a few miles of Jordan is  Minnesota Harvest.  

The Jordan Brewers (Jordan's Baseball Team) A grand tradition!  Come on down to the Mini-Met and root for the home team!  Our town ball team schedule is posted on the Jordan Brewers web site.

Jordan Heimatfest (Our Community Festival) is held every year in September at Lagoon Park. The Parade starts at 11 a.m. downtown.  Gates open at the park at noon. Food and fun for the family all day with an awesome fireworks display at 9 p.m.

The Scott County Fair is located just on the edge of Jordan.  This great event is held one of the last weeks in July each year.  For dates and times check the link to their website. The fair is considered "The 5 Best Days of Summer".  Attractions include a carnival, draft horse shows, stock dog challenge, amateur talent show, helicopter rides, beer garden, grand stand events and Sunday night fireworks.

Mystic Lake Casino offers a variety of gaming, first-rate entertainment shows, and dining. Mystic Lake is located about 10 minutes north of downtown Jordan.

Valley Fair is the largest amusement park in the Upper Midwest. It features over 75 rides, several roller coasters, and the Whitewater Country Water Park. The Fair is located about 15 minutes North downtown Jordan.

The
Minnesota Renaissance Festival gives visitors a taste of the culture and atmosphere of 16th Century Europe. The Festival features 9 stages of ongoing entertainment, real armored jousting, and over 250 artisans. The Festival runs from Mid August through September and is located about 5 minutes North of downtown Jordan.

Murphy's Landing offers visitors a glimpse of the Minnesota homes and businesses of the mid-1800's. Set in 87 wooded acres along the Minnesota River, about 15 minutes North of downtown Jordan, the Landing features demonstrations, crafts, and horse drawn trolleys from March through October.
